Hello everyone, for todays blog I wanted to talk about a very interesting book I found that seems to be very relevant today. Something I believe most have noticed happening, which is AI in business.
I originally found this book while looking for information on my thesis, which was about the many uses of Artificial Intelligence in a business environment, after giving it a read not only did it give me a lot of useful information about the topic but it also made me more interested in it.
When reading it I already had some questions in mind I wanted more details on, which was specifically what was the most common way it was used in business environments. On top of that I was looking for information about how it would affect every day work, what would change if anything at all, what I found from 2 specific chapters of that book was quite interesting.
To start of with, Artificial Intelligence is used mainly to streamline simple tasks, the kind that only needs basic information to be put out. This way of using Artificial Intelligence helps speed up tasks that most workers would consider a waste of time to make everything work that much faster and more efficient. In general my finding have found out that the entire reasoning behind using these technologies in environments like this is for efficiency.
As to how it affected every day work, though it is different for every company and furthermore depends on the details of each use of Artificial Intelligence, for the most part the results are positive, higher productivity and when used correctly, without dropping the quality of the business. It is also worth noting that Artificial Intelligence isn't a new thing to be applied to businesses, it is something that has been used for many years but thanks to the recent advancements it is not only easier to apply to smaller businesses but also can be used in a bigger variety of ways.
In conclusion, I hope that this post has at least made you more interested in the topic and furthermore I hope it will motivate you to do more research on the subject. It is something that will only develop more so in my opinion it is worth looking into.
